KYC and Credential Verification Policy

1. Purpose

Ensure trust, credibility, and safety. Verify user identity, professional background, and corporate affiliations. Maintain compliance with Indian IT Act 2000 and DPDP Act 2023.

2. User Categories and Required KYC

  • Talent: Government-issued ID, Resume, Educational Certificates, Employment Proof
  • Founder: Government ID, Education Proof, Company Registration, Shareholding Details
  • Co-Founder: Government ID, Education Proof, Employment Proof
  • Company: Corporate Registration Certificate, PAN, GST, Authorized Signatory ID
  • Expert Interviewer: Government ID, Education Certificates, Employment ID, Experience Proof

3. Verification Process

  • Identity Verification: Government ID check, face match, cross-verification
  • Education Verification: Academic certificates validated
  • Experience Verification: Employment letters, company ID
  • Corporate Verification: Registration, PAN, GST, directorship confirmation
  • Third-Party Verification: TALENSER may use verification agencies

4. AI and Automated Verification

AI tools may assist in document authenticity checks, text and image verification, and risk flagging. Automated results do not replace human validation where required. Users may request human review.

5. Ongoing Verification

TALENSER may re-verify periodically or before critical engagements. Users must update credentials when employment, documentation, or IDs change.

6. Consequences of Fraud or Misrepresentation

False documents may result in:

  • Account suspension or termination
  • Refund denial
  • Legal action

Post-engagement discrepancies may lead to engagement termination and blacklisting.

7. Data Security and Privacy

All KYC documents are encrypted in storage, transmitted securely, and accessed only by authorized personnel. Retained for minimum 5 years for compliance. Users may request access or deletion subject to legal obligations.

8. Expert Interviewer Specific KYC

Must submit identity proof, education and experience proof, employment or corporate affiliation ID. May provide portfolios or task samples. TALENSER is not liable for decisions made by Expert Interviewers.

9. User Declaration

All submitted information is true, accurate, and complete. Consent to verification. Misrepresentation may result in termination, refund denial, or legal action.

10. Policy Modification

TALENSER may update this policy at any time.
